Oil and Acrylic on Hardboard SIZE: 30"x24" The first XB-35, #42-13603, Jack Northrop's majestic Flying Wing and grand-sire of today's B-2 Stealth Bomber, is shown here over the California desert in June, 1945. Several were built but sadly all were ordered dismantled and today the only flying reminder is the 1/3 size test version maintained and operated by the Planes of Fame in Chino, California. |
