Mitsubishi A6M5 Model 52/Zero
|
OVERALL SIZE: 5.5"x8.5" IMAGE SIZE SLIGHTLY SMALLER "Zero" shocked the West when first appearing early in WWII, equalling or bettering most of the world's fighters. But as time and circumstances caught up with her, she was forced to soldier on past her prime. Even so, the Zero (or "Zeke" by her Allied code name) remained a dangerous foe when flown by a good pilot in one of the later versions as shown here.
