ROBERT KARR, ARTIST

WELCOME TO THE NEWS & MEDIA ROOM

THE LATEST:

FEB 26, 2008
OLD news is NO news... sadly, this "room" got away from me.
A FRESH START with the website re-design will also bring reviving of this area - considering turning it into a BLOG.

MAY 11, 2007
The famous Chino Planes of Fame Airshow is set for May 19-20, 2007, and Robert Karr, Artist, is scheduled to participate as a vendor again, this year.

Rare birds, lots of heavy iron and graceful aerobatics are scheduled to be flown. Static display of Robert's art will be at his booth near the food court. (see map)

This year's show is highlighting the P-38 "Lightning" with the promise of three of these rare birds to be seen in the air simultaneously - including the famous "Glacier Girl" dug up in Greenland several years ago and since restored.

Among the Fine Art that will be offered for sale at Robert's booth will be two small prints of P-38 "Lightnings", as well as many other selections, featuring both WWII and WWI airplanes. Several already framed prints will be offered (not available on-line!)- ready to hang for Father's Day (June 17th).

Chino is usually sunny, hot and windy - wear loose-fitting long-sleeved/-legged clothes, comfortable shoes and a HAT and you'll be a happier camper. Stop in for a spell of shade at Robert's booth and ask about more of his airshow specials.

Discounted advance-purchase admission tickets to the airshow are available from the Planes of Fame website. After May 13th a $1.- off coupon, only, is offered, so get 'em while they're hot.
